Alger
County Prosecutor Karen A. Bahrman graduated cum laude from the Detroit
College of Law in 1981, and while there served as managing editor of
the Detroit College of Law Review.
She is a career prosecutor, having completed three internships
in prosecutor's offices, served over six years as an assistant prosecutor
in Marquette County, spent nearly thirteen years as Delta County's
chief assistant prosecutor and been appointed as Alger County's
prosecutor on December 31, 2002.
Mrs. Bahrman has lived in Alger County's Rock River Township, where
her husband David operates the Bahrman Potato Farm, since 1988.
They have no children, two dogs and two horses with which she competes
in the sport of endurance riding.
